Payment Options
Tevis Energy has several payment options available to our customers. Please review the different payment options below for the one which best suits your needs. If you have any questions, please call 410-876-6800.
Option 1: Custom Monthly Payment Plan (CMP)
This popular program eliminates high and unpredictable bill by spreading your winter fuel costs over eleven equal monthly payments. Your Plan is flexible and customized just for you!
- Number of payments - The standard plan starts in July and runs for eleven months. You may also start later and/or make fewer payments.
- Flexible payment amount - We can work with you to adjust your payment amount up or down as needed to avoid a large credit or balance due at the end of the season.
- Flexible payment method - you may pay your CMP
- automatically via EFT (electronic funds transfer) or credit card
- online or by phone via check or credit credit card
- by mail via check
- Add an equipment service plan and roll the cost into your monthly payment. (Learn more about Service Plans.)
- Final credit balance refunded or applied against the following year’s fuel cost. We also pay you 1% interest on any credit balance you accumulate during the season!
- TLC Price Protection - Enrollment in the Custom Monthly Payment Plan and Automatic Delivery makes oil customers eligible to participate in our Learn more about TLC Price Protection.
You'll receive an informative monthly statement that lists all your deliveries and payments for the season, so you'll always know exactly where your account stands. You may call us at any time during the season to make modifications to your CMP.

Option 2: Pay-as-you-go
With pay-as-you-go, payment for each oil delivery is due in full within 30 days of your delivery. Your delivery ticket serves as your invoice and includes a convenient payment envelope. Payment methods include:
- Automatically via EFT (electronic funds transfer) or credit card
- Online or by phone via check or credit credit card
- by mail via check
Option 3: Prompt Pay
Tevis oil deliveries paid in full amount by check or cash within 5 business days of delivery receive a discount of 2 cents per gallon. Currently, prompt pay applies to oil customers only. Credit card payments are not eligible for the Prompt-Pay discount. Your delivery ticket serves as your invoice and includes a convenient payment envelope. Payment methods include:
- Automatically via EFT (electronic funds transfer) or credit card
- Online or by phone via check or credit credit card
- By mail via check
Option 4: Pre-Pay
By prepaying your entire fuel bill in advance you receive TLC Price Protection at a reduced enrollment fee. Prior to the heating season, we will estimate your fuel needs and send you an invoice. If you require additional fuel delivery beyond what has been pre-paid, your account will default to Pay-As-You-Go, and the Prompt-Pay option will be available to you.
Please note, payment options 1-3 are subject to credit approval.
Option 5: C.O.D.
If we are unable to approve credit, Tevis Energy is happy to deliver fuel with full payment due at the time the delivery is scheduled.
Regarless of payment option, all Tevis Energy customers receive the same prompt and courteous service!
